Schools started back several weeks ago, and I have been meaning to tell this story:
My youngest is in Kindergarten this year. She came home after the first day telling us that her principal is handsome... and she told him so when he visited her classroom!! I hadn't seen him yet, so I asked my wife, "Well, is he?"... and she said, "Yes, he has a shaved head and goatee"...
They both assured me that I was more handsome, but I guess it was cool that she noticed a guy that looked similar to me and called him handsome.
Yes, times, they are a changin'! Once I decided to shave my head this summer, I started noticing a lot of sly guys. I have always enjoyed being a little different from the mainstream, but now there are so many sly guys, it won't be long before bald will be common. I told my s/o that by next summer, I expect about 1/3 of men to be shaved. Probably won't be long before the media will be doing stories about guys going sly.
That's great! Sounds like her principal has good taste (and maybe a lurker on SBG...

)
I noticed this with cars as well, that when you buy one you see them everywhere, when you just hadn't noticed them before... the same is true for the sly look. You start noticing it after you do it and it becomes more common place (and more accepted as well).
I remember when in most schools, a shaved head and/or facial hair were forbidden by the employee dress code.
As to the increasing numbers of sly guys, I prefer to think that we at Sly Bald Guys are the trend setters for others to follow.
Nice story Mike! Good to see you and your wife back!!
