So I have read many great tips on this site which has led me to make some changes in my routine. Today was the first day of implementing all the tips and new products......WOW what a difference! Picked up a
badger brush,
razorock shave soap, and
shave secret. I also picked up
clubman pinaud and
bump patrol to use after shaving......these items have rocked my world

decided to shave the beard and leave goatee for summer and I am super smooth on my head and face. I thought I enjoyed being sly before but after today I am down right giddy.

Yep. The Pinaud Clubman really has the scent of the old fashioned barber shop. It brings back good memories, not that I ever went to a barber shop as a child. Mom always clippered my hair with old clippers that got really hot and were uncomfortable. I think it was college before I ever went to a barber shop as such. But I really liked the scent of whatever it was that the guy put on my hair at the end. Well, I'm sure it was Clubman.
It's now a daily walk down memory lane when I slap on the Clubman on my shaved head. (I still like the Bay Rum scent, but Clubman is the choice for now).
Post a pix with the trimmed beard.

That's what makes our little corner of the internets so special. Learning from each other is why SBG is great.

My faicial hair doesn't grow evenly enough to sport a sweet beard.

Looks good with the goatee, but you definitely rock the full beard. I hate to see anyone with your beard density not have a full beard. For those of us with density issues, we are very jealous. I was in my mid 40's before I could pull off a full beard, and it still has density issues when you look up close.

Hey Dmac,
Nice to run into you here. Have you tried the Gillette Guard with your Razorock etc products? I now use Razorock shave gel and the Gillette Guard on my head. I also enjoy the RR shave soaps but am often in too much of a rush to create a good lather and enjoy it. Anyways, between the Gillette Guard and RR products, I'm so happy with my shave routine I've barely changed a thing in several months! The G. Guard is fantastic!
Best to you and yours!

Gotta love those eureka moments! I have to agree that you look great either way, but I think the full ears just tips it for me.

Same here .... and besides, with the full beard, your razor blades will last longer --- less hair to shave! LOL.
But I'm partial to a full beard. Had one since 1980.
