Hello guys! I'm glad to be back to the forum after almost a two week break. It's been a month today since I started shaving my head and I'm really happy I did it:-). I went sly on the first day of my vacation that was over only last Tuesday. My relatives were the first who saw me shaved bald, then I spent two weeks in a quiet health resort in the Carpathians where nobody knew me and finally my co-workers saw me with a new hairstyle only last week (but I gave them enough time to get used to the change by placing my sly photo on facebook several days after I shaved my head) . The reaction to the new me was mostly positive (almost all women and girls I know who saw me last month complimented me on the new look; a professor at uni who used to teach me Pedagogy remarked that I changed and that she liked me with hair but apart from that she didn't say a word of criticism or disapproval). The guys' reaction at work was different: some were supportive, some were curious why I'd done that but most accepted it as if I'd been shaved bald for ages:-). Thanks to you, guys, I was well-prepared for any negative remarks. There was only one co-worker who mocked at me and said he didn't like a hairless look on men and that the style was disgusting. I replied that it was disgusting to be overweight and not to do anything to lose some weight and that I didn't like people who don't do anything to keep fit (and he is really overweight and lazy:-)) I'm usually polite but that time I got angry and gave an emotional anwer. The pill was of great effect:-) he is all good manners and politeness now. I think it would have been more difficult for me to overcome shyness and become more confident without reading the forum and practical tips you've been sharing. Anyway, there were much more good things after going sly: more confidence, more interest from the opposite sex, more respect from colleagues. That's how I feel about it. I definitely like the bald look and it sometimes occurs to me that I'd probably keep it shaved forever (stasiu and mrzed are right: headshaving is addictive:-)) As to headshaving itself, I've recently started using Headblade Sport though it's impossible to find Headblade products in Ukraine (my friend brought the razor when he was on a business trip in the USA). I shave first with the grain and then against the grain in the shower every other day as my skin is extremely sensitive and there's always irritation after shaving. I use oil for shaving, alcohol-free aftershave and one thing I that works 100% for me and removes irritation: an antiseptic Ayurvedic cream from India I discovered in the pharmacy (it's called Boro Plus and produced by Emami Ltd). I use it 30 minutes after applying aftershave. Another problem is the stumble is visible 3-4 hours after shaving and there are some spots on the head that are not perfectly smooth. Maybe, you could share some tips: I'd really appreciate it. Sorry for a long message: I transformed it into a kind of report:-)
P.S. I started a trend in the office: two guys at work promised to shave their heads this weekend (one has done it already) and my friend is going on a business trip for 2 months and wants to try the sly look during his stay in America. All the three said that wanted to go sly because I did it and they didn't want to feel cowards:-)

Good story and good example. Thanks for the mention.
The stubble may show to you in a few hours, but others probably won't notice that soon.
Bald looks really good on you. A natural.
