Thanks a lot for positive comments: your supportive words and practical advice of sly brothers were of real help to me when I was at crossroads and had to decide for myself to go sly or not. Luckily, I'm in and  I've already been shaving my head for 8 days and I truly like the experience. The reaction of my family and old friends was supportive; even my mom said I looked unusual but OK though I often heard her say she didn't like guys with shaved heads but that was mostly because of modern Russian TV series she's so fond of: guys with shaved heads appear as villains though this stereotype is slowly fading away. I clearly understand now that all the fears as to the reaction of the family were only in my head. My co-workers will see me only in late May (I'm still on vacation) but I hope I will be more confident then and I'm thinking about posting a pic on facebook before I get down to work. Here are two photoes of me with a tanned head Do you think I should keep it shaved? In any case, I'm going to follow the 30 day rule and see what will become of it.
