First bald day at work.

• Just in the middle of my fiirst day at work with my 4 day old bald head. What an eye opener it has been. I have had no comment from the other men in the office at all, just business as usual. One of the woman i know well walked up behind me and stroked my head, then kissed it as well! Good job I'm not a prude! Expected far more reaction to it. What a great day. My confidence is sky high! How did you guys find your first day of baldness at work?

• Same thing here. I had six comments about my bow tie on the first day at the office bald. nothing about my hair.
  
  Later, after the other guys and I were both comfortable with my bald head, they would make some good natured jokes about it, and I punch it right back ... they all have very short or thinning hair and really need to go sly themselves, so if they joke about me being bald ... they are just jealous.  LOL.
  
  I've had no bad comments about it.

• I had had very short hair so going shaved was not that big a deal.  Got some ribbing but was fine with that.  this was many years ago (1980) when shaved heads were very uncommon.

• It was no big deal.....I treated it as just another haircut, and I expected others to do the same....But it wasn't that hard because during that time, everyone wanted to "be like Mike" (Michael Jordan, one of the greatest bald heads of all time IMO)

  Nobody said anything.  Mainly because I'd pass the 30 day sly trial the day I started my current job. Everybody at work have only seem me bald.

• Completely not what I expected at all. A new guy started in the office today and he commented on how I carry off the bald look so well while another guy made a light hearted comment about it which broke any tension there had been about it and then the questions came thick and fast. Everyone at work seems to love the new me which I think has killed any doubts I was having about keeping the 30 days going.

• I had a similar reaction, got a head rub lol, no one really cared, no one treated me differently, apart from the head rub! Makes you wonder what all the fuss is about..... going bald I mean!

  It's almost disappointing when the expected reaction doesn't occur.
  
  Just proves, I think, that people do have things of more interest than you hair.

• Thanks for the comments Frontier Guy! Wasn't disappointing just different. Definitely goes to show that sometimes things we think are major issues just aren't at all.  This is definitely a great experience!
