Anyone else having this problem on the Forum??
« on: February 24, 2013, 02:10:27 PM »
I log in and in the upper right corner I select "Show new replies to your posts". I then select a thread to enter. Usually when I exit that thread and then reselect "Show new replies to your posts" the thead that I just looked at no longer appears. BUT NOW it still shows, as though I did not look at it. This is true even if I post in the thread. When I exit the thread still shows but if I go back into it the post I just made does not show.
This is all also true if I select "Show unread posts since last visit" in the upper right corner.

I have to exit the Forum and close my browser, then open a new browser and re-login to see stuff updated. ANNOYING!!

Any ideas? I ran some routine maintenance the other day and then this started. I'm hopingf that someone savvy about this stuff can help me out.

Everything's working like normal for me today.  What kind of maintenance did you do?

I did not run any "routine maintenance" and everything is still working as it has for months ...

Not savy--but I was advised by one member who is savy to Cntrl+F5.  Note: when this is happening the time you log in doesn't change, so when the time on your machine is "new" and the time on the Site is old, Cntrl F5.  Works everytime.

I am having the same problem for several days now. I tried the Control+F5 solution, and it did refresh so that the threads that I reviewed no longer appeared, but I need to do it after reading each Post. Mildly annoying.

About a week and a half ago, I was on SBG using my iPad and got thrown off when I tried to go to a thread.  I was then locked out of the entire site for the rest of the night.  The next day, everything was back to normal.  I didn't think much of it at the time because I was having trouble with gmail that night too and assumed it was my iPad.

Hm, it usually works once the cache got deleted. You tried the same like clipped and same result?
I guess you checked the options whats supposed to be deleted !?
