Breaking out the blades again

So, usually I don't shave my head in the winter cause I'm not overly keen on the blue-grey shadow... I prefer to buzz it down as close as possible and save the razor for the summer when I can get some proper tan on my dome. But tonight in the shower I had a brainwave and thought why not, so out came the blade... and really I wonder what I was thinking, the feeling NEVER grows old, and the confidence boost that follows is just priceless. I went down my local for a beer afterwards and felt like I was three meters tall and made of titanium, enjoying the feeling of a cool breeze on a fresh smooth scalp

... good times
Bit of a random post but I'm sure everyone here can relate, and hopefully if it can be of encouragement to anyone still on the fence
(Hope this is the right section to post this, if not, moderators please feel free to move it, or just nuke it if it is too random)

I totally agree. I find it hard to skip a day ... the feeling of "Fresh Sly" is so rejuvenating.

Eheh good luck, might wanna keep a beanie handy! Though I have to say the feeling of icy winter hair on your head on a crisp clear day is actually very pleasant... for about two minutes

I think you look great, very handsome. I skipped today because i need to be to work 30 minutes early on Fridays. Will probably shave when I get home. Can't stand not being smooth.

Yes, anyone who lives in any kind of windy/cool climate... bring a hat!
(and be prepared to take it off when on a 90 degree overheated subway train and feel some instant relief--bonus!)

Being retired means I always have the time for a morning shave (head and face), so I cannot remember the last time I missed a days shave.
Once I've showered and shaved it's only then I feel ready to face the day, whatever it may bring.

I used to think 'it's too cold to shave my head, people will think I'm nuts', but when you're a headshaver -it doesn't matter what it is outside -it becomes a 'maintenance' thing, maintaining the look. Plus, you really get un-used to hair on you're head, it's uncomfortable & itchy!

The hair on your head does not keep your head warm a hat does
