Matt, I moved this to the entertainment section.

Right now my favorite band is the Railbenders.
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

For me, it must be between the classic Deep Purple or a russian group by the name of Leningrad (or Ленинград depending on how you decide to read it)

I am a major fan of three groups (people):
Peter Gabriel, I think his music is very introspective and has a lot of "texture." I get lots of imagry when I listen to his music and close my eyes.
Aimee Mann, Introspective and thoughtful
and Duran Duran, fun and some of it has good texture.

Over the years I've been into lots of different styles & genres but at the moment amongst my favorite performers I'd list :

Nic Jones, Martin Carthy, Martyn Wyndham-Read, Peter Bellamy & Roy Bailey.

Anyone else share this strange passion?
His heed was ballid, and schon as eny glas

Heck, if not anything, you gotta love them for the reason the Ed rocks the sly real well! Good band though.

The Rippingtons (jazz)
Jimmy Buffett
Metallica
Nickelback
