Hello from Soon-to-be-Sly in Colorado
« on: February 02, 2013, 12:16:29 PM »
Hey all! Just jumped on in anticipation of shaving my head in a few weeks for charity (and I plan to give the new look a chance to stick around too :-))

I posted some questions here: http://www2.slybaldguys.com/smf/index.php?topic=19695.msg302465#msg302465 that I'd love any feedback on!

Thanks in advance and have a great weekend!

Dan

Welcome, Dan! Given that it's winter, it's kind of hard to get a tan....But what time has taught me is that if you treat going sly as just another haircut, it won't even matter.....BTW, I think it's nice that you offered to shave your head for such a noble cause. I assume that you aren't balding, you're just shaving because you committed to the act?
Even when the d is removed, the devil is still evil.

Welcome. Your adventure begins with the simple glide of a razor blade. Good luck.

Since you never shaved before you probably have no problem waiting a few weeks but after you are bald you will want to shave every day. I  like keeping my head as smooth and slick as possible. Post before and after pictures.

Paradox: Life is a mystery; don't waste time figuring it out.
Humor: Keep a sense of humor, especially about yourself. It is a strength beyond all measure

Welcome to the forum Dan. Once you shave the dome, you're gonna love it.
Good luck and let us know how it goes.  O0
