Hey fellas,
Thought I'd tune you all in to the news that this sly guy is doing college radio once more! As a graduate student at Northeastern University in Boston, I jumped at the chance to do a radio show.
One of my major reasons for doing college radio is my conviction that my generation really doesn't understand or appreciate good music.
I'm working one step at a time to cure this problem by making young people in college aware of the following genres:
Classic Rock, 80s New Wave, Rock inspired folk, 60s pop (better than today's pop!), etc, etc.At my last college radio gig, I had to hear a lot of DJs playing the same modern crap that is overly auto-tuned and lacking in some serious talent.
My show runs on Fridays 12-2pm eastern time, which is inconvenient for listening in some time zones! But if any of you guys ever get bored around lunch hour (or whatever hour!) feel free to listen in!
Note: I'm not sure if our streaming capability is worldwide.
Also, this week's show will be my first show in this studio, which is much more advanced than the studio at my undergrad school, so there might be a few technical hiccups the first time! But I hope my good radio voice and good tunes make up for it!
My show: Dirigo in the Headlights
12-2pm, ET, FRIDAYS
WRBB 104.9 BOSTON

http://wrbbradio.org/schedule/I also will take suggestions on favorite tunes that you might want to hear/have represented on the show within the genres I specified, but I'm also open to other genres of music if it is something that is really awesome and worth broadcasting to the world.
