Welcome! There are going to be varying answers on this, but I like the Andis series....Panasonics are also very good from what some of the other fellas say, though I have never owned one. Andis has served me well when I was going through my no razor periods. Good luck!

I was not happy at all with Panasonic's lack of commitment to repair a defective shaver that was within warranty period.  I have a Philips Norelco that has lasted, and gives equally good results.

I panicked one day when I realized I needed a shave and wasn't near my home. At Walgreens I purchased a Braun Mobil Shaver M-90. It's portable and defies all logic in that it works perfectly. One handed, in my car, watching television, doing whatever, when I use an electric razor-a rarity-this is the one I use. It's possible to buy new blades for it, there's a built in trmmer and brush to clean the grill and it fits in my briefcase, my pocket, the glove box in my car....in fact it's in all those places as I bought additional ones for suddenly evolving needs.  PJ

I've noticed several 'what is the best' threads lately.  Sadly, without testing every product out there it's a highly subjective call.

I'm a diehard fan of Panasonic Linear shavers.  They have provided me with great shaves and good service for five years shaving my head.  Other brands my serve their owners equally as well.

I'd suggest searching the forum for past threads and give them a read.  There's some good information out there.

Phillip's Norelco triple head rechargeable have had it 3 years and don't use it much any more but it has floatable heads and does a good razor job.
