I have recently discovered Red dry scaily spots on my face and head. Ive tried all the Dermotologist recomended lotions but its still not taking away the dryness. Any ideas?

Treatment would depend upon what the diagnosis is. Could be dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis el al. You mention dermatologist recommended lotions but don't say whether you have been diagnosed by anyone. If you've been to a dermatologist and it hasn't worked then you need to go back.
If you haven't seen anyone and don't want to spend any money then go see a pharmacist and seek advice otherwise see a doctor. Dermatologist would be great of you don't have to pay at all or much.
Take some close-up pics with your webcam and give us a look. You could make them close enough so you can't be identified if you don't want to be. Always appreciate an avatar pic though when it is felt appropriate.
