Like i posted earlier i really don`t have a problem with the new look...However tomorrow i will go back to work and well....i guess you guys know better than me on what to expect...
I have been using caps for alittle over 10 years...i am so comfortable with them that sometimes i don`t even know i had them on..I use them because i like them(not because i was loosing hair on top).I will probably use them on daily basis but how you started switching from previous ways into a sly look...(i guess i am just looking for tips). -

I agree with Rob6. Was almost like the same for me. I got mostly good reactions, which felt great.

The reality is, in my experience at least that most people will be completely indifferent. When I first shaved 7 years ago, I got a we comments from my boss who had about as much hair as I did, but apart from that!
Have had a steady stream of comments since, but no different to me taking the piss out of my mates for something daft. -

I had a zero crop for many years, then went sly. I grew my hair back recently and sometimes toy with the idea of doing so but I do prefer the sly look.

If there anything that will bring the reality home to you that your mpb was really taking too much of your time--i.e. concerns that other people were noticing it on a daily, even hourly basis--you'll learn quickly that such was not the case because there really won't be a major response at the office. In an odd way it's almost disappointing how little will be said about it except the odd compliment, a little razzing perhaps, but mainly, nothing. It was a big thing to you, and you've accomplished a major improvement, but only for yourself--the 24/7 guy. But having cleaned it all up, you've now got a lot of extra time to concern yourself with the important things in life. Enjoy, and unless it's uncomfortably cold, leave the hats at home.

Yes, aim to go without a hat as often as possible for the first month. The full confidence inducing effect will be stronger, I think, since you'll be seeing how people respond to it more. -

I think you'll find that most people will be indifferent to it. That was my experience. Only two people have told me they don't like the sly look and one of them hasn't actually seen me in person, only my profile pic on my Facebook page.
And I echo the suggestion of ditching the hat for awhile. I think that'll help with the adjustment and boost your self confidence. -

In my experience a lot of people didn't even notice or comment.
A few close colleagues commented but that was it.

For my first time in 2004, there was major buzz from my coworkers as to how they liked it, and even asked for head rubs. The second time last year, I did not receive any comments until I shaved off the beard, and people realized I shaved my head.

On my first day in the office sans hair (now mind you I had been buzzing to 1/16th), I had six comments on my bow tie and no comments on my hair. Really never did have comments about the hair until some time later, when there was light joking, but I think they were jealous. Most of them are thinning and they really should consider Sly as a desirable situation.
It's rare I go a day without seeing at least one other bald guy around here.

I work in a small company, so almost everyone (in reality that's maybe 10 people) asked me why, but almost all of them said it was a good thing, the rest didn't actually comment either way. At the end of the day as long as you are happy that's all that matters mate

I took deep breath, psyched myself up and went in. Some people were shocked, others non plussed, others didn't even notice (one asked me if I'd lost weight!)

I was slightly worried, but otherwise ok going back to work afterwards. Mostly nobody even noticed. Only two of my friends noticed the slick dome after a good 5 hours into my day, and it wasn't even the head they picked up on. Seems when you wear a hat every day for years people sort of assume your head stops slightly above the eyebrows. There was no negative reaction at all for me. Not that it would have mattered really.
