Shaving At Night..
«

Recently, I tried shaving my head a couple of times just before going to bed. This last time I noticed the hair that had grown seemingly overnight, the other times it just looked the same to me. Is my perception changing?

I always shave in the morning so i can enjoy the smooth during the day. If we have an evening event, i may delay shave to late afternoon, but never before bed.
Waste of that good smooth shine on sleeping hours. There will be fuzz in the morning.

I usually shave Sunday morning to look my Sunday best, but I usually shave at night due to work. I feel the same way as you bbcguytom. There are moments where I have a nice smooth head, and other times where I feel stubble upon waking up. To my advantage though, I wake up at two in the morning, so my appearance is not fully wasted on sleep.

I don't like to shave before bed, as my head feels funny on the pillow!
I get up extra early every working day so I can rep a sly done and clean shaven face:)

Hair doesn't grow constantly, it depends on diet, temperature (during winter hair grows slower than during summer), so yes, maybe some growing factor changed.

I've been doing it at night, myself. I'm a night person and not fully functional in the morning hours, so wielding sharp objects near my head at that time just seems like a bad idea to me.

I'm also a night shaver too, and I can tell you some mornings it does feel like someone has sprinkled hair fertiliser on my head, pity I have no seeds left in the bald patches haha

The other day I had an early morning flight so I shaved the evening before. I actually liked the feeling and fell asleep like a baby. Next morning it was still baby smooth.
But I agree with most here, I usually shave in the morning

It all depends for me. If I think that I will be more rushed the next day before work, I will sometimes shave right before I go to bed. Sure my head feels a little bit more stubbly but it still looks close to the same to me for most of the day. Of course I prefer doing it before I go to work or out and about.

I used to do the morning shave thing but moved it to the evening. Getting up at 415am for work is bad enough with out adding more time to shave the dome. So, ya I get the 5 o'clock dome shadow but the alternative isn't an option.
Now if I'm heading out on a friday night I'll be shaving before heading out to clean up.
Although weekends spent at home nothing gets shaved ending up with more of a Jason Statham look, but that's not a bad look either.

I'm more 'awake' during the P.M. hours, but if I think I've time -if I don't think I'll have time, I'll either do it at night or not do it altogether! I've been more of a 'committed' shaver since visiting regularly!
