Well done fanta. Wish I had done it when I was younger like you. Like you I too experience great freedom from not having hair.
You couldn't be experienced in a negative light if you put a big smile on your face like Frontier Guy [look at his pic]. Just thinking about how good it feel is a wonderful smile generator.
Another thought -- if the shadow is problematic then why not shave it again later at work? According to this video it only takes Jack about 2 minutes using the headblade sport, a water tap, a towel and some goo. You could easily do it in your day. He makes it look so easy I've ordered one myself. Check the video:
