Starbucks tip
« on: December 11, 2012, 10:12:22 AM »
I was just laughing over at the coffee thread and reminded me of a tip that I should pass along.  Starbucks has a triple filtering process for their water they put into coffee which is better than any bottled water that you can buy.  So next time you are at Starbucks and want water, just ask for a FREE ice water and don't buy the bottled water.

Instead donate that $3 by clicking the donation button above.

Funny you should say that.

The other day, Starbucks got grilled by politicians here in our UK House of Commons (bit like US House of Representatives)...

...and have since agreed to pay £20 million in taxes to UK treasury

Interesting concerning their troubles.

I'll admit that I have bought their bottled water (which to me is never cold enough) if I am very thirsty; however, I have done that lots of times, being there is a Starbucks in my job. The filtration process was briefly mentioned to me the very first time I asked for water.
Once upon a time. The End.
