Christmas present for bald guy

Hi my husband uses a andis t-outliner for years and he loves it but its getting old and needs to be replaced. Does anyone have any suggestions on a new trimmer with a closer shave or should I just buy him another andis t-outliner model g???? Thank you  (he does have African American hair)

Welcome, BMW! I have Andis clippers myself, but I primarily use them to trim/shape my facial hair. They also did the job during the stretches that I couldn't shave with a razor due to surgery. Usually, if clippers are oiled and stored properly can last at least three years. I swear by the Andis regular outliner, but maybe some of the other guys can offer other suggestions. Good luck!

P.S. Why not get your husband to join SBG?

Thank you for your fast response!! It does seem like he loves them but he does not care for then properly so he says they pull his hair sometimes...And I will get him to join right after Xmas!!
