I look great, my wife really likes it. I shower and shave at night (with DE) and been doing real well. Wanted to look extra sharp today, decided to do a quick face shave, and not touch my head. Just finishing face and noticed very small spot on my head that needed quick touch up. Just a quick swipe with DE and no lather, not even water. What a mistake! Small nick but blood everywhere! Finally got it stopped with steptic. Lesson learned no quick clean up and never shave dry!

That's part of the learning process.
I can't remember the last nick. Maybe 10 months ago.
But I always use shave cream.

Bad move, Mick. That's the kind of fun the DI has with the troops in Boot Camp...not fun for the trooper.

Exactly. We tend to learn lessons from previous mistakes. Not from advice given by others.
Don't worry. You won't be doing that.
And yes, I've done that before. Just the once.

I've not done that specifically, but we all have our rookie mistakes. Best way to learn

My memory is impecabl....ly bad... haha I have a really bad short term memory problem, sometimes I can't even remember what I did yesterday, or earlier that day. It can be quite frustrating, I'm always forgetting things, and then remembering them at the last second, or not remembering at all. Yet surprisingly I have a great memory for faces and names.

In this situation, i think the saying SLOW but SURE applies... At one time i was in a hurry and did shave my head with little lubrication (if not totally no lubrication at all), and i paid the prize-- shaving nick... Since then, i really give enough time for my head grooming, and it pays for i don't have nicks episode again.
