Thanks for the support guys, means a lot
I'm normally a rather reserved person so sharing my story on a public forum like this was a bit nerve wracking but I felt I had to do it for those who might still be sitting on the fence and struggling with hair loss. The stories I have read on this forum helped give me strength when I was in some really dark places so I'm hoping by telling my story I can lift someone else's spirits and help save them from years of hair loss torment!
To my fellow Aussies G'day!
Nice to have other Aussies around here 
So I guess I have been officially SLY now for 10 days bring on the 30 and beyond

Thank you for sharing your story. This time a year ago I was planning my first head shave for Jan 21.
Actually did it on the 19th. I hope you enjoy your bald head as much as I enjoy mine. Off to the shower to shave my head again.

Confidence will continue to grow from now... and in a little while, people that knew you before will not be able to imagine you any other way. We only know the Sly you.. .and I can't imagine you any other way. You Rock the look for sure.

Powerful account and well written. from someone objective that doesn;t know you, I look at your picture and go "Wow you look amazing and being sly suits you and I cannot imagine you looking as good with hair because you own the look!" Slightly jealous at how good you look mate!

Thanks for the positive comments guys, helps keep me on track
I notice the negative comments come mostly from people who only know me with hair or a hat so I think it's a bit of a shock for them to suddenly see me bald
Still don't see why some people gotta be nasty about it
