Here we go with another dog of a game on Thursday night. I'm sure the powers that be thought this game would be exciting coming into the season but I will be curious to see the ratings on this one once it's over. Oh and there is the fact that NBA and NCAA basketball have kicked in but I digress.....
The slumping Miami Dolphins attempt to even their road record at 3-3 tonight, when they visit the AFC East-rival Buffalo Bills. Miami, which had won two straight before their bye week, made it three in a row on Oct. 28 as they soundly thumped the New York Jets 30-9 on the road. But the Dolphins were edged by the Colts the following week, dropping them to 2-3 away from home, and suffered a shockingly awful loss to the Titans Sunday, 37-3.
Buffalo, which has not met expectations at all, will be trying to halt a three-game losing streak as they return home after two straight on the road. The Bills lost a one-point decision at home to Tennessee on Oct. 21 and followed their bye week with setbacks at Houston and New England (no surprise losing to either though).
Miami couldn't stop Chris Johnson last week and I expect that the Bills will try to unleash Fred Jackson and CJ Spiller on the Dolphins defense.
Prediction: Buffalo 24 Miami 20 (Buffalo covers -1)
I think everyone loses...this game holds zero appeal to me.
I don't think the warm weather boys stand a chance.
I agree with yelloboy; Buffalo on a late field goal covers the 1.5.
My prediction is Miami 16 Buffalo 23.
