I have been around here for 3 months now and have truly felt accepted. I do not know why I have felt the desire to be bald, all I know is that it feels right for me. I am not sure how many more guys out there feel like this and are BBC?

I do agree with what you say, although I am not BBC and I have thinning hair. Being bald feels very right for me and this board is very accepting of other people.

I am bbc. Always wore a buzz cut of some sort. But after getting buzzed without a guard, I started noticing shaved heads more and started to get curious. So i bought a headblade which sat on my counter for a while. After some encouragement and a few beers I finally used it. Once I finished the deed I knew the look was for me. Going out with a shaved head for the first time it felt completely natural. Didn't wear a hat just went out with my naked scalp. I stayed shaved a couple years and grew some hair back but over a year ago I went Back to being sly. And I don't see myself turning back. A bald head suits me and it feels right. I enjoy being bald and the shaving process. It's a form of pampering, I can do it myself don't need a barber, it's no nonsense and feels great. always got compliments too. Being shaved always suited me. I never felt I had to get use to the look.

I know what you mean Razorhead, I started out back 1999 with #3, then though I like this, perhaps I will go shorter, and then shorter all the way to no guard and then smooth. I am almost in that place now that I am ready for everyday smooth, probably no going back after that...

Think curiosity got me started, too. Then I came across SBG forum and the 30 day trial.
Though the BBC flag is slowly being lowered and replaced by the BBN flag.

Doesn't matter, you have already won that battle if you are stating to become BBN now anyway haha

Nope, doesn't matter now. The widow's peak is disappearing and there's a sand dune across the top.
Still it's fun to have the daily morning head rub from a colleague. He's just checking to make sure the head is shaved smooth enough !!!

If anything it proves that you made the right decision by beating Mother Nature to the punch. You've avoided the whole thinning and receding stage.

BBC and love that I had the guts to try it 2 years ago. Even though I go from sly to hair - it all depends on my mood at the time. Just another hair style.
