Thursday Night Football: Who ya got? Kansas City at San Diego
« on: November 01, 2012, 01:18:20 PM »
Here we go again with another dog of a game but it's still football  ;)

Two struggling AFC West teams attempt to end losing streaks as the Kansas City Chiefs and San Diego Chargers kick off Week 9 on Thursday Night Football on NFL Network. The Chiefs are just a bad team right now and just suffered its fourth straight loss Sunday, when it lost 26-16 to divisional rival Oakland.

San Diego is in a tailspin themselves and broke the hearts of some many Sunday, dropping its third straight, losing a 7-6 decision at the lowly Cleveland Browns. (The couldn't beat the Browns??!?!?! says the guy who bet on them  :-\)

The Chargers outgained the Browns with 265 total yards but were unable to find the end zone, settling for a pair of field goals. The Chargers won the first battle between the division rivals on Sept. 30, posting a 37-20 triumph at Kansas City as they capitalized on six turnovers and scored 27 points in the first half. However, the Chargers have scored a total of six points over its last six quarters but the Chiefs lead the NFL in turnovers with 25....that's AWFUL!!

Prediction: San Diego 31 Kansas City 14 (Chargers cover -9.5)

Chargers 30, Chiefs 10 (Don't know why)
