Hello fellow chrome domes: Hope all is well with you and your families. With Halloween nearing... what is your favorite Halloween candy?
I'll start. My favorite Halloween candy is candy corn, double bubble gum, whoppers, and bite-sized Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and BabyRuths. I'm sure I am leaving some out but those are the ones that are in my mind.
So... how 'bout you? What's your favorite Halloween candy?

I'm not a big fan of candy and sweet stuff in general, but I'm a sucker for Charleston Chews.

I never knew that there was a special sweet you ate with Halloween or `samhain .. Is this a cultural thing from your side of the pond ?

Yeah, candies like "candy corn" (which I personally find obnoxiously sweet) is considered "Halloween Candy".
For me, it's about the only time I'm exposed to any candy other than dark chocolate, so for me, it's all Halloween candy!

Double Bubble, all forms of Reese's cups/M&Ms/eggs/pumpkins/whatever, Baby Ruth, Hershey's Special Dark, Mr. Goodbar, Krackel, pretty much anything with chocolate, nouget, and peanuts. I don't eat candy often, but when I do it's usually a few pieces of dark chocolate. Maybe I should come out of retirement and try to go trick or treating this year... Last year I was Dale Gribble from King of the Hill at a Halloween party. Our friend Rusty Shackleford would probably appreciate that.

Reese's; Butterfingers; chocolate-covered preserved ginger... Oh, sorry, that last's not something I EVER give away (or get).
Candy corn? For the eight year-old set. Or for folks with a sucrose jones.
