shaving over/around lipomas
« on: October 06, 2012, 12:50:10 AM »
Aspiring head shaver here.  I've been reading and taking notes from you guys for months now.  It's really made a difference in my face shaving and I'm just about ready to jump into head shaving.

One of the last things I'm trying to figure out is if I will have a hard time shaving over/around two lipomas on the top of my head.  One is more of a dome and shouldn't be a problem but the other stands up more so I'm concerned about being able to get an even shave around it or the razor grabbing it.

Any one else dealt with this problem?  Or have you guys just gone and gotten them cut out? :)
I have looked into getting them cut out but I'm told it will leave a scar unless I go to a plastic surgeon.

Experience, thoughts?
Thanks :)

Welcome kidaidi,

I can't answer your question personally ... but the topic of moles has come up before with the similar question about shaving around them. Seems to be a mixed bag of answers - some shave around them, others have had them removed.

Let us know what you decide, and others coming along later will certainly have the same question.

Again, welcome.
