Razor Bumps and Neck Irritation

Anyone with sensitive heads have trouble with irritation or razor bumps on nape of the neck? If so what products do you guys use?

when I irritate I just rinse with cold water, and then use a regular aftershave.

ClearHead by HeadBlade is my absolute favourite, it works wonders. Then there is things like Bump Patrol, which is good but for me, not as good as CH. Always do a cold rinse after you shave, or ice cube. Maybe go WTG on the back of the neck/head till it toughens up.

I'm not sure If this will work but try a 1 or 2 blade razor aswell, like a gillette disposable one. Less blade, less irritation. If you have a razor with 5 blades, then there is 4 more times a sharp blade is going on the skin, than if you was to use a one blade razor. but then again a 5 blade razor might give you a smoother shave as a one blade may not causing more irritation. Just a thought.

I use to have some issues with razor burn and bumps after every shave. I found out it was actually the shaving gels and creams that were truly bothering me. I started wet shaving and those problems have disappeared for the most part, I rarely have any issues now. The start up cost can be high if you go all in the wet shaving realm, but if you stay with disposable razors and just get a brush, bowl, and shaving soap it can be relatively cheap ($10 VDH kit at Rite Aid or Walgreens).

I can tell you that bump patol works pretty good for me. But i've also heard alot of good things about clear head from headblade. i don't think you could go wrong with either one.

medpsy82....I see you have a north carolina license plate in your signature. if you live in NC whereabouts? I live in Salisbury.

I was having same problem. I have used bump patrol twice and the bumps are gone. You can get it at Walmart.
