Hello.
Can you estimate the headblade ( classic / sport ) lifetime? did you ever changed one because it..broke or so?
Also, what about the adaptors for the gillette atra / sensor cartridges? ever had problemns with them?

I have never had any problems with the headblade,and the same thing with the adaptors.

since when you have the headblade you're using?

Just FYI ... the Sport I'm using seems rather indestructible other than the adapter which is easily replaced.

I had my first one for three years and then left it in a hotel room by mistake. It worked as well as the day I bought it.

I've had my current one for two years with no problems.

I do change the adapter about every 3 months or so.

I never noticed that.

I got my yellow Sport in late October 2011. Used it until late August and it still seems brand new.  I only changed to a new one in late August as I picked up the newer Sport (yellow and black) when I was in the US. I guess that would fit in with their suggested timeframe.

However, we'll have to see if the new one gets as long a run as my ATX is enroute to me now (USPS tracking says it left their LA depot on Sept 12). If the ATX is as good as it sounds, the new sport may get retired with only a month or two of use.

On the adapters, I replace mine each time I get a new package of blades (can't remember if that's 4 or 5 blade cartridges in a pack of HB3s - the package contains 2 adapters)

No problems with mine. The only way I can see it being damaged or broken is by dropping it in the shower.

I've actually dropped my in the shower a few times. The adapter and blade popped off but that's to be expected. The razor itself was no worse for ware.

Been using the HeadBlade sport for nearly 8 months. After several months, the wheels came off during the middle of a shave. Fixed them back on, then they came off yet again.

Now before I each shave, I make sure the wheels are pushed firmly in place before use.

the wheels are not a problem, I also got a hb classic, just in-case. it's the adaptor for the gillette sensor / atra I'm worried about..
