Re: New Guy, Slowly Coming to Terms (But Finally Did It.)

Oh boy what a night.

I got myself pumped with a workout and listening to Sabaton and Rammstein. And then it started.
I finally bit the bullet. I had enough of the balding spot on the crown and receding hairline. Started buzzing it down to 10mm, then at long finally ******* last, no guard on my buzzer (and it cuts pretty low).

I feel so amazing, and I am finding myself smiling much easier already. I had come to terms with my hair loss (even showing it to some close friends/family members), but this bald head feels so amazing, both physically and how great it is making me feel about myself.

And it is all thanks to this great site, I'm definitely going to be sticking around now.

Getting Started, (my left) side is starting to be cut down to 10mm, (right) is before anything.

Was curious how a Mohawk style thing would look

That big head that looks (ridiculously) great now!

Great feeling air hitting my head, and showering/shampooing was really awesome (and a little weird at first).

Yes it does suck majorly that I am losing my hair before I turn 20, but damn life moves on and I feel better than ever. No more ashamed feeling and trying to hide my head with a hat.
If one thing says how I feel now..... How could I have waited this long?    It is my time now.

Congratulations, GhostSpectre!

I often wonder what happened to the guys whose initial posts, like yours, never show resolution.  It is great to hear you went through with it and that you like it.

Sly suits you, and you are so right that it does feel amazing.
