Five Guys Manager
« on: September 01, 2012, 09:14:00 PM »
We had dinner tonight at Five Guys, Burgers and Fries.

The manager took our order. He was SLY. Shaved completely bald. I told him I knew that we would get good burgers tonight because the manager was completely bald!

Then gave him the link to SBG.  Maybe we'll see him on here one of these days.

At least you don't have to worry about a hair in the food

And I BET that song was going through your head :D
Life has three aspects: Paradox, Humor, and Change.

Paradox: Life is a mystery; don't waste time figuring it out.
Humor: Keep a sense of humor, especially about yourself. It is a strength beyond all measure
Change: Know that nothing stays the same.

Doug, it sure was!  Told the manager about it. He had 'heard' that it was 'out there' but had not heard it himself.

Dinner was GREAT.

Wife and I shared a bacon cheeseburger and a large fries.  Man, we could not finish it.  You bite the fries and they bite back.  And when you take a bit of the burger, it fills your mouth so full that you cannot even talk. All you can do is 'MMMM, MMMMM, MMMMM.''  Dayum, Dayum, Dayum!

They should pay that guy lots for his review and the 'songify' guys for making that promotional spot for 5 Guys!

Five Guys Manager AND a Bald Tire Mechanic
« Reply #6 on: September 02, 2012, 05:04:44 PM »
Now, later in the day, we had a flat tire on the interstate!  Yikes.  It was too late in the day to do anything but put on the spare and take a room for the night (instead of finishing the drive home). The spare had some cracks in the sidewalls and we did not want to risk going 175 more miles on that, with no further spare!

So Sunday morning we headed to the service station/tire shop.  (we were in very rural western North Carolina. there's not much to choose from out here).

The guy at the service station ..... bald as can be. A young guys. Obviously shaves his head, around the edges because he has to. The top is BBN.  I told him, I'm sure the tire change will be good cause you can trust a bald guy.  He laughed.  Told him I was BBC.  He asked what I use ... Head blade. Never heard of it. So I pulled it out of the van and showed him!  Left the URL for Head Blade AND www.slybaldguys.com.

We may have a new visitor to the site!

What a bald trip.  Great head shave this morning at the motel.  Thanks, Head Blade.

By the way, wife and I are back home after a 2500 mile trip this past week! nice to be home.

Sounds like one sly PR trip!

I wouldn't risk it on that spare either... glad to hear you made it home safe and sound though  O0

It was a SBG PR trip!  Saw quite a few bald heads along the way. Put a smile on my face.
