NOOOOO! MY PRECIOUS HEADBLADE!

I started shaving this morning, and having only got through a quarter, the finger ring snapped right off... needless to say I had to finish very clumsily (and taking oh so long) with my schick titanium. What a sad day! And they only stock the old, full plastic headblade sport over here, not the improved rubber (black ring) one, do I buy one tomorrow, or do i wait and ship the new model in... what a dilemma.

I haven't tried the new one yet so I'm not sure I can help. I'd probably give the new one a try, though.

Augh! I've got no adaptors for my HB sport, and I'm so afraid that the adaptor will break and I'll be so f...ed up.

I broke one adapter ages back, I use the black ones and they seem to be hard to come by. If you use the yellow ones, I have a few spare and could post you one if you need.

thanks for the offer. I am using the black ones, but it doesn't matter the colour, I simply need some not to run out them. i'd be dead without a hb, lol. and the headblade.com.ro is out of those, damn.

In another topic yesterday it was mentioned the new HeadBlade model isn't expected to ship until
next year.
Personally, I couldn't wait for that long.

That is the reason why I have stocked up on 2 spare yellow adaptors. I am also going to buy a spare Headblade which I will keep in the pack in my cupboard just in case mine ever breaks. I never want to be without my beloved HeadBlade...

Didn't it come with some? If so you should be good. I can't remember the last time I changed mine. Also, I've never had one break. So as long as you have one or two you should be ok IMO.

Yeah they really should send out 2 black adapters.
@frontierguy, that is the head blade ATX but I'm talking about the current sport. The primary importer only has the old model of hb sport, but I have found a site who will ship me the new one... It's just a shame that orders from HB's site have so much shipping cost... I want a skully as well

Sorry to hear of your dilemma, "five". I hope that you write and request a replacement from HB.

and the HeadSlick is also on sale.
I gathered my $1 coupons and hit a half-dozen Walgreen's within a 4-mile radius here and am well-supplied with HeadSlick. Very reassuring knowing that in time of world turmoil I'll still be able to have a smooth daily shave.
Interesting to note the "regular" price for HeadSlick varied among the stores, but the "sale" price was the same at all of them.
