Interesting Hair Restoration Commercial
« on: August 15, 2012, 02:48:43 PM »
All,

I'm searching for the youtube now but I just came across one of those "hair regrowth" commercials where there was a guy with hair and a bald guy sitting at a poker table. The guy with hair kept blasting the bald guy and bald guy (sly bald) looking dejected. The first two things I thought of when I saw this were:

1. What a shameless plug and shot against sly bald guys
2. These companies must truly be afraid that they are getting "competition" from guys wanting to shave their head over hair restoration.

First time I saw these companies worried about sly as a valid solution.. its actually a backhanded complement to the sly community. I just thought you guys should know.

I reckon with the many movie celebs and athletes going BBC isn't helping to improve their business much.

Yeah, they're probably getting nervous about the number of guys choosing BBC as an alternative to costly hair restoration treatment.
Hair is over rated.

It's real sad when they have to play off of vanity/ego, and try to slam a (very large) group of people who choose to shave their heads. Whatever it takes to get some more almighty dollars from another sucker...

A comercial needs to sell a product and IMO it should be treated as such.
If their technology would have worked then we would only see BBC people.  So my guess is that it's not working as expected... but the commercial is playing verry well with the issues and suffer of those who are balding.
