well to all....I been sly for almost a year now struggling to find what works best for me. Ive tried many many routines, majority of them taken from this website alone. Ive gotten pretty good...but still wasnt seeing that smoothness....After being a lurker for almost a year....I finally joined yesterday and posted my dillemma....As being new to this site...stupid me i posted my dillemma in the wrong location. i posted in the "read this before posting" section...lol....sorry....never the less....Ive remove it now that i have a better understanding of where to post topics.
But i have to say it is soo krayzee how things works.. Here i am struggling for almost a year now and then i join ,post my problem and get feed back rite away...talking to the @ beardman & Mark H. they made me see going against the grain was pretty much the only thing I was NOT doing...which is why i wasnt seeing that smoothness.. I wasnt going against the grain because it somewhat taboo for people of color like myself due to our hair being more prone to irritation...but i tried it in the past when i first started shaving and have a bad experience but keep in mind i was a rookie...and use that one bad experience to never go ATG..Well i try again after talking to the guys and sure enough....i got my smoothness i was looking for...what a huge difference..no irritation like before when i went ATG....but again I have more experience then before......im speechless rite now...who would of knew i been looking for the answer for soo long and it was right in front of me...Thanks to the guys....Just figure i share this....if someone else is struggling with smoothness... Just because people say dont do it because the color of your skin doesnt always mean that is true..you have to find what works for you....I finally get it!

Welcome. There are more good tips to find on this site and to come as you post your questions.
This is the spot, whether bald by choice or naturally balding.
I shave daily WTG and then again ATG. Does the trick for a smooth dome.
And again, welcome to the community.
