Another HB question

I've been using cheap disposable razors on my dome for about a month. They work fine but I'm still debating whether or not to try the Head Blade. Is it really worth 14 bucks?

It definitely is worth the money. I don't work for them or get any sort of kickback for recommending their stuff I just am a fan of their product. I have tried all kinds of shaving methods and I've found that once you get used to it the HB is one of the better products for shaving.

Hingatao, you can probably find it cheaper in some of the major drug retailers in your area. And on Amazon for $10.36 - if you add in HeadSlick and another item you can get it for free shipping. Walgreens.com had it for 9.99 last month.
I like the HeadBlade so much that after a month I bought a second one as "backup" just in case ...

I don't know the major retailers where you live, but I got one last year at Walgreens on sale for $6.99.....then I got another one for free from my sister on Father's Day. Most retailers will sell them for under $10 sale or no sale.

Hello Hinatao
I highly reccomend the HeadBlade. It is worth every cent and gives me an amazingly close shave in the shortest time possible. I believe every Chrome Domer must give the HB a drive over the old noggin, some time or another, even if it is only to satisfy the curiosity.
If you make the purchase, do let us know...

Like the guys said, you can find it for less, and it's worth every penny!

You know, I've been curious about trying the HeadBlade but haven't done so because I've heard some guys say that they've sliced their heads up when shaving in a hurry. I realize that this is just as likely to happen with any razor but in the few years since I started shaving my head and in the 15 months since I've been shaving daily I've never sliced up my head. I've gotten an occasional nick here and there but that's about it. I guess I'm just a little wary of the learning curve with the HeadBlade.

Took to the Headblade straight away. Really enjoyed using it from the first time.
OK, so it's taken some practice to get the best shave I can. But no more practice than saying use a new remote control for your telly.

Well, if I make a mistake with my remote control then the worst that happens is I end up watching a bad soap opera...if I make a mistake on my dome with the HeadBlade I could end up with a bloody horror film. LOL

I think the learning curve is what's kept me away as well, more so than the cost. But one of the other members is sending me an extra HB that he had so I'm anxious to give it a try. I should have it in a day or two.

I'm pretty much in the same boat. I've heard of lots of bad experiences with the HB, but lately I've been hearing nothing but positive remarks. I guess it's one of those things where you have to find out for yourself. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't becoming more intrigued as time goes. Maybe I'll order one from Amazon soon...

I started with a HB and don't think there is a massive learning-curve at all. Follow the basic rule of NO PRESSURE and you'll be fine.

I gotta agree. I've been using HeadBlade since Day #1 and other than a couple of nicks have had no problems. Great device and I don't see anything likely to tempt me away.
