I've been on the fence for a few days and finally bought a pair of clippers from the local clearance store yesterday. I lost my nerve though and slept on it overnight. After one more look at my thinning crown and after selling number of sly guys walk by I decided that today would be the day. So, tonight I plugged in the clippers and ran it down the middle of my head without any attachments. After a couple of passes things looked pretty good and it was time to go after the stubble with a razor. I jumped in the shower to get rid of the loose hairs and then lathered up my head with soap and shaved it all off with my fusion. Not quite as clear as I'd like it, but it feels pretty good. I'm a little apprehensive about the reaction tomorrow - but what the hell, we only live once.

Thank you for the photographs. Well presented, and an excellent exhibit of when it becomes decision time. I always enjoy photos with threads, where relevant. These are very relevant! You made a brilliant move in my opinion. I like the way that you only "Sat on the fence" for a short while, perhaps as those were my sentiments when the deed was done.
Well done, and do share the journey here...
