Welcome to the SBG forum, Spafil. I've had several Panasonics and have used them a lot over the 7 years I've been BBC. They are quick and easy, but for the closest, cleanest shave cold steel is needed. They are the best especially the new models. I have bought a couple on E-Bay for very good prices. Welcome Spafil, glad you found this site. Great guys and great information (which you've already discovered).
I encourage you to post a piece over in Introductions so everyone will get to meet you - you know the stuff, why you started shaving, how long it's been, what do you like best about living the "Sly" style, and anything else.
Some of the team won't necessarily venture into this threat if they're not into electric razors.
