It came today! It's a tiny thing. I'll try it out tonight during my normal fruitless attempt at getting clean.

Dunno about this. Shaved last night and took my time, but still gouged my head (couple o' oops!). It's hard being a neat freak when your face and scalp are bleeding! I'm stubborn if I'm nothing else, though. so I'll continue on.

Take your time with the head blade. It's a different technique. Don't press hard. You don't need to scrape your head with it. Move slowly until you get the hang of it.

Take your time... Apply pressure over the wheels, not the over the blade. Rinse the blade after every pass.. Are you going WTG or ATG?
Practice, patience and persistence. Before you know it, it will become second nature.

Well, did the deed again last night and got better results. Still nicked up a bit, but didn't bleed all over creation and my pillowcase wasn't bloody!

Still takes an age, especially for a fellow with a bad back.

Well got my stuff (triple blades & Head Slick), but I shaved earlier today before I got it. I don't really like shaving, but I hate hair worse!

Glad to hear you are getting better, I have recently started headblading myself, and it really is just a case of taking it nice and easy, and if you feel you need to apply pressure, keep it on the back wheel. Another peace of useful advice I got from the ladies in my shaver shop is to run in straight lines, if you realise you have missed a spot, don't turn back to get it or that is when you nick yourself. Just get it on the next pass.
I hope your next shave is a better experience, especially with your new goodies

When the new 4 blade HeadBlade cartridges come out I highly recommend ordering some immediately. I was lucky enough to get in on the test and had two 4 blade cartridges and two 6 blade cartridges. As someone who still struggles with nicks and gouges using the 3 blade I have to tell you the difference is night and day. The new cartridge is great but what makes it really fabulous is the totally new design adaptor. It is so easy to shave without hurting yourself with the new one! Just take it slow and easy till you have a chance to get the new 4 blade cartridges. I go along with the advice already given. Keep those wheels in contact with your head all the time and make nice straight strokes and really take it easy over the creases and bumps! Hang in there.
