Welcome! I just started with the electric on Monday and I think I'm gonna stick with that instead of the regular razor. I have the Panasonic LA ES63 and it's easy on the scalp so I can use it daily without irritation and break outs. Takes a little longer (about 10min) to shave but I shower after work so I'm not in a rush. For cream I use the fusion shaving gel. Best of luck in your search for answers

I used to buzz mine down with electric clippers then hit it with a straight razor using Ivory soap lather as the vehicle. Then afterwards hit it with Noxzema for a nice lil' tingle to let you know that you are still alive lol !

Wow where to start :p

Check out the 'routine thread' plenty of good products there.

My no1 piece of advice would be to ditch the aresol can and grab a shaving brush and make your own lather! Now for which brush and which cream/soap....now that's a long story!

And regular baby wipes feel like heaven on the dome, but Garnier facial cleansing wipes (a tad expensive) are even better!

Different strokes for different folks...part of the fun of being sly is experimenting to find out what works for you. I recommend a shaving brush, Shave secret, Witch hazel and skin cleanser. Also after shaving, I suggest rubbing your scalp with an ice cube. As the guys said, read the board, you'll find a lot of tips in the threads...Good Luck!

I use baby wipes all the time! Will have to try the Ganier out.
