Well, Miami forces a game 7.....will the East winner become OKC's lunch?

The OKC vs Miami NBA Finals is gonna be epic. I think OKC have a better team but I say that the Heat will win in seven. I can't wait.

I am from Seattle. I remember the Sonics taking home the championship in 1979! But I feel robbed! So go Heat for me!

I was waiting for an old SuperSonic fan to chime in...

I will say that there was plenty of fan support here for the Sonics! But the politicians here at that time were whacked! They did not appreciate the value of the team. But while I like a lot of what Starbucks does (I am a former employee), Schultz should have been public about wanting to sell the team. That way a local group could have had a chance to buy the team! Our current politicans are working on a new arena deal. If we ever get the NBA back, sadly it will probably by stealing someone else's team! Sacramento has come up in that conversation!

I still stand by my prediction on the Miami Heat to win in 7 but it is gonna be tough. I thought that the Heat could at least steal game 1. Durant and Westbrook combined for a great game. LBJ hit his usual 30 pts 9 rebounds. Battier had a good game but DWade didn't show up IMO. LBJ needs Dwade and CB to show up if they want to win. Game 2 is crucial for the Heat.
Btw... just finished listening to your podcast TW. Good job. On a side note, I agree with your assessment on Dwade. He has not been playing like an all-star (don't know why). I respectfully disagree with your OKC prediction but I definitely understand your rationale. That's what I love about sports.

I think OKC showed last night they have the ability to easily come from behind, which they also did consistently against the Spurs. The size and length of their starting five clearly caused problems for LeBron and Wade late in the game. Westbrook took over and played like an elite PG when they needed him most in the 4th quarter.
Going to be a great series and I'm sticking to my prediction of OKC in 6.
BTW, teams that win game 1 win the series 72% of the time.

Series tied at one a piece. Lebron finally got some help. Dwade and CB showed up. Battier did his job on the three point line. It's gonna be a great series.

I agree...... YAWN...... the NBA is sort of like hockey but on boards instead of ice. LOOOOOOOOONG and boring seasons.
I LOVE hoops.... but the college variety. I don't think the NBA game is good to watch.
