after months of debating i've finally taken the plunge. starting to see some recession at my hairline at 15 and at 20 i decided i couldnt possibly take procepia for the next 10+ years (started a month ago).
my head is as white as a cotton ball, i havent seen any friends or anything yet..as im a little anxious about it.
any tips would be greatly appreciated, time will tell if the look sticks or not!
Remember that what does a person is his/her "aura" not the physical presentation.
If you spot the bald look with with confidence you will look amazing.
In the picture you've posted you look good but in spite of this you had the face of a man who have already lost his favorite pet..
Come on!
Smile or at least show some confidence: you look great

was it tough for you guys the first few days? i mean right now, it is difficult to look at my reflection and say thats me. i realize it takes some adjusting, but its been tough on me so far. any tips?
my worries are the same many of you probably had at my stage, and that is my concern with how women will look at me. my hairloss has really knocked me down the past few years and i suffer from a shitty mood because of it, making this all the more difficult.

That's what the 30 days is about, in part--getting used to the new dude in the mirror. A day will come when you'll catch a reflection of yourself, and before you realize it's you, you will think, "Looks good!" It will happen. The ladies, well that will come too, particularly when you learn to smile, get beyond yourself and start showing some confidence. My best memory is two days after shaving down being on a flight to the west coast with the wife asleep next to me. Our seats were next to the galley, and the stewardess, Jennifer--she made sure I had her name

--I didn't ask for it, and we're talking and I realize, Damn, she's interested in me--then the wife woke up and gave the poor girl "the look", Jennifer ran down the aisle to start attending to passengers, and I just smiled! That NEVER happened with a combover or receding hairline. It will happen, really.

You look uncertain! You shouldn't.
Try growing some facial hair. It looks great on a lot of people who go sly.

The shaved head is a great choice for you. Great head shape and great look for you. As several posters have mentioned, smile and show some confidence about your new look ... and don't forget to follow the thirty-day rule. Good luck on this new adventure.

Welcome! It's okay to feel a little uneasy in the beginning, because shaving your head is a life changing event IMO...Just keep a positive attitude, and just remember people react to you based on the way you present yourself...Good luck!

You look great! Your head does not look that white and you have a great shape. Plus you have good eyebrows which helps. Don't be anxious, you look awesome your friends will get used to it and you will too. Keep up the good work and welcome. You've come to the right site.

thanks for all the support, it sure is helpful to have a site such as this available.
my family just saw the new head for the first time, via skype, and since i am in germany for the next 3 months, many of them said, oh well you still have plenty of time for a full head of hair when you get back. i didnt quite have the audacity to tell themm they may have to just accept the new me.
this is still very difficult for me...havent stopped taking the propecia yet, but most likely will soon.
thanks again for the help amigos

Stop taking the propecia if you want to be ready and able for the ladies--sly is safe and sane & has no side effects, except a nick or two at the worst. It's cheaper, safer--it's just the only real answer as you're going to find out.
