Hi, all. Great forum! I've been more or less sly for about two weeks now. The wife wanted to see what it would look like, and I am losing my hair anyway. I was going to wait for the warm weather, but I got sort of obsessed with it, so I buzzed it, and then a couple of days later I "bic'd" it. Mostly got positive reactions, the exceptions being my mother (she doesn't like abrupt change too much, though I did forewarn her) and, ironically, my wife. Wasn't quite what she expected, but I think she is getting used to it now. Most people at work said they liked it (but of course, I don't know if they are just trying to be nice, but I doubt it). A couple have been tactfully silent on the matter, lol.
I'm not worried about the 30 day rule, as I've always been one to change things up, going from super long hair in my younger days, to super short and in between, all the time. Also frequently change up the facial pattern from goatee to full beard-- not clean shaven any more, since I got married, as my wife prefers facial hair on me.
Anyway, I seem to be rambling a bit, but love the forum, and all the great tips and advice on slyness!
One question though-- what does "sly" actually refer to? Not obvious to me how "sly" and "bald" go together, but I am sure I will slap my forehead at my own obtuseness when I find out
