I am so glad I found this site! I have only been shaving my head for a few months now and I've tried all kinds of products. What I've discovered is that any moisturizer I use leaves my head greasy and it clogs my pores. This results in breakouts. However, I love the shine that comes with a product like head lube glossy. Is there any kind of product out there that would provide me that high gloss shine without clogging my pores? I have somewhat oily skin to begin with.

Wish I could help you as the woman in my life loves the baby powder feel on my head with no residue with what I use, but ultimately it is a matte look rather than glossy.

Welcome to the forum...I use 100% Aloe Vera. Maybe I'm clogged up, I don't know.

For a great non-greasy shine that lasts all day, try Fruit of the Earth 100% Aloe Vera Gel (less than $5 at Walmart).

got to be alloe vera gell, if you can get the organic double strengh aloe vera. it produces a awesome shine and is good for the skin

my dome is preety shiny... and I use no product for it.
Even my boss asked me:
" Is it that hot in the restaurant? why are you so sweaty?"

I have a shiny scalp especially if I shave in the shower under the water. The shinier the better.

May want to try Lubriderm Mens 3 in 1 Lotion for body, face, and post-shave. I got the one with the light scent and it works nicely to give a sheen and smells good too. No greasy feeling at all.
