Hi All.
Shaved my head for the first time 5 days ago. Still trying to figure out the technique that works best for me. I've been shaving my face for over 45 years, but doing the noggin is new. Should have done it years ago. Love my new look and look forward to spending time here with my fellow sly guys.
Cheers,
Todd

Thank you all for the warm welcome.
Mike: I'm Toulouse by birth - born in Canada to a long line of Toulouses.
I'm still trying to find a routine that gives me a close BBS head shave without irritation and that is quick enough to do everyday. So far I managed slow but close and comfortable (de razor), fast and comfortable but not close (Braun electric razor), or fast and close but with bumps and burn (panasonic electric wet shave).
Hope to someday get all three - fast, close, and comfortable.

Welcome! Give yourself a little time and you'll get the shave you want. With practice, you'll get faster without any irritation or nicks.
I'm surprised you got bumps and burn with the Panasonic. When I use mine for a wet shave, I have no bumps or burns.

Thanks for the encouragement npsbg.
Any advice on what soap/cream works best with the Panasonic?

I suggest you wash your gourd with hot water 'n' soap and use Shave Secret and Bald Guyz Gel ...after I use this with my Panny LA-63 my head is a slick as deer guts on a door knob.

I use HeadSlick with the Panasonic - works great.
