So guys, this is it, my last 24 hours with hair (what's left of it), I'm nervous but also excited. One of my best mates is going to use the clippers on me, then it's to the shower to use my headblade. My partner will be at work so when she comes back i'll be a new man! Wish me luck, bring on the confidence and liberation!
P.S I coul only get hold of the 1st gen headblade sport, so I'll let you know if the old wheels cause any issues... I might even upgrade it myself, I have some rubber grip paint in the workshop.

looking forward to see a pic of you after you do it.
I'd suggest you to try a barbershop for the very first time.

Take it slow and easy with the Head Blade. It can give you a decent shave, but if you rush and bear down on it too hard, that thing can eat your scalp alive!
Have fun, and good luck.

I'm skeptical of the head blade. I'd recommend Gillette Fusion or Schick Hydro 5.
I've never cut my scalp with either. Keep your head well lubed & go slow at first. You'll like the look & feel !! 😄😄

I agree with snake. Don't get discouraged if it doesn't work well with headblade. Some of us find it very awkward, difficult to use, and don't get good results with it. Others love it. Have fun with the process.

Ive been fairly wary of the mixed reviews of the headblade, but I've got great finger control from guitar playing so I reckon it'll work ok, I've got a schick Quattro if all else fails. I'll report back to you on my experience with it, and how it makes me feel to be sly.
In reply to iRock, I thought about going to my barber, they have been really cool and have been encouraging me down the sly road for the last year or so. But in the end, I wanted to be able to get straight in the shower and shave it after its clippered (my barber doesn't do razor head shaves). I'll let you know if I regret not going to a professional.
And in a general note to all the guys who run this site, and Tyler for making it all happen: this has to be the most positive, supportful, and insightful Internet community I have ever known. Thanks guys!

Good luck.
I started shaving my head just over a month ago. I've only used the HeadBlade and haven't had any issues with it. I find it very easy to use and (along with HeadSlick and HeadLube) find I get a very close smooth shave.
I haven't tried using a regular razor, but after using the headblade, it seems to me that a regular razor would be awkward.
i was nervous about the first time, so I watched the videos on HeadBlade.com and also on youtube from links in this forum. I think that helped to make it easier.

Way to go!!!

I'm living proof...anyone can use a HeadBlade.
I have like 3 original sports over 4 years old each (1 for travel, 1 for home, 1 just because it was on sale).

Also, to address your concern on not having the latest sport model, I am using the original as the sport is not in stores in Canada.
