hey.
how do you prefer to shave your head? with or against the grain?
I do like that:
I start shaving from the top of my forehead (where the hairline begins) [ here I shave against the grain], and keep the blade on my scalp till the back of my head.
how do you shave? with or against the grain?

Against the grain - and across on a diagonal too. With the grain doesn't get close enough for me.

I do the same both with my Panny and with cold steel...I like it slick enough to slide on barb wire.

I do like npsbg. Going with the grain cuts almost nothing for me.

With the grain for the first couple of months-against the grain everywhere except at the neckline for bump reasons since then.

If I have shave on my own, the first run is with the grain, then I would reapply shaving foam and shave against the grain, feeling every inch of my scalp for rough spots and run the razor over it until it is all smooth. Most of the time I have my my regular barber do the shaving for me using a straight razor. He stretches my scalp and shaves it really close and smooth. Just the way I like it.

definitely against the grain. i do have some spots where i have to go in different directions to get it really smooth. eventually you figure out the direction of growth.
