Well, they was harsh to me:D
I am like 20, never been bald before, and then, BOOM! I was bald.
Some (few) apreciated it, some not. they even called me "kojak" (..).
Now, after like one month, they got used to it, I'm way better to.
It's tough around, I live in Roumanie (some where eastern Europe), and they are like way back in time.

Hi Paul.eboy!
It's better to accept that you're loosing your hair and eventually becoming bald from the start, no matter how young you are, and just become comfortable with it, instead of trying to hide it in some lame way. Try to grow a beard or something too, if you can, and find out what's the best look for you. Don't be afraid to try out stuff. That's my best tip for you

Wow! I was shopping in Lowe's (home improvement big box store) this morning and everyone...I said, everyone looked at me. I checked for mustard on the tie (no tie) buggerz and an open fly...nada, everyone was fixated on the shinny (Shave Secret) dome. I never noticed anything like it before. Hummm?

hoh.
I shaved today.
as soon as I got out of the barbershop, everyone was staring at me :O
I walked on the sidewalks like 3 hours, and they were like "what?:O"
I really didn't/don't care at all, it's just a haircut. If they can't get it, not my business

Congratulations. You've got the right attitude. It's only hair and it's yours. If people don't like it big deal.

To me, being called "Kojak" would be a high compliment. Telly Savalas sported a shaved head decades before it became mainstream. I loved that show when growing up.

I liked ol' Kojak, too. He was a teddy bear and also hard as nails...did he own stock in Tootsie Pops?
