I took my shaggy hair down to a tight induction cut, and as I'm off work for e while, I lathered up in the shower and bic'd the last bit off. It feels great, but I'm not sure about the looks...I'll give it a few days and see!

Um.... Now I regret asking for a photo... Because it looks WAY better than it does on me! Seriously you had better never grow hair again. Welcome now do the 30 days.

Thanks so much for the kind words! I think you look fantastic with your "chrome dome" and you seem very comfortable with it and I can't really picture you with hair.
I was asked to fill-in a shift at my volunteer job tomorrow (I usually do Sat. shifts). I thought I'd have a full week of growth on my side, but I've decided to go in. We'll see how it goes!
It's already starting to feel stubbly: in a few days I'll see if I'm to a full 30 days!
Cheers!

Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it. I'm getting more used to it and liking it more by the hour.
No need to be kind because it looks good and natural!

Thanks so much everyone: you've given me the confidence to go into my volunteer job this evening. There was some surprise and a few "looks great!" but certainly not the full-on rejection I was expecting in the back of my mind (I'd packed a hat just in case!) Within minutes, I felt totally confident with it. As others have said, I think we make a much bigger thing out of it in our mind than it really is. I think I'm ready for my 30 days!

It's true - we all tend to think everyone will react to our new look, yet most of us have experienced what you did. Stick with it for 30 days. You'll become accustomed to the great look and feel and everyone else will adjust.

Looks great. Keep it shaved and smooth. I no longer like the feeling of stubble on my head.
Be sure to use sun screen when you are out in the sun.
Enjoy your great new look.

Mikeyk,
Looks great man! I know what you are going through in that it does take a while to get used to the new look. Every time I looked in the mirror initially I was in shock and thought it looked ridiculous. You have to realize though the the way you perceive yourself in the mirror is not the way that you look to other people. I have become used to it now and got my confidence back. What I thought looked weird, all of my friends liked and the ladies loved it to! I was worrying about nothing.
Be patient and at least complete the 30 days. Your confidence will start to grow and you will become used to your new look.

Looks great!! What you said is a very natural anticipatory thought, but as most people find out (including me), it doesn't work out that way! 30 days!
