At what age did you start shaving your head and keep it that way?

I first went slicky sly at age 28. I did however start using clippers and a #3 guard when I was 19. So I guess I've been keeping it close for 12 years now, and Super Sly for the last 2+ years.

I’m not counting the involuntary head shave in Boot Camp… so this year was my first time at 56!

Did it for the first time in 88', I was 20....then off and on numerous times after that until i finally decided bald and sly was the way I was meant to be!
I went sly "for life" when I was 28...so I guess my initial calculations for my "slytime" was off when i told you all I've been sly for 10 yrs...
it's been just over 12 years.....
slick and smooth and stayin that way, my balded bruthas!

Just curious -- was it a conscious decision to go bald forever, or was it just a "for now" kind of thing that gradually became a permanent look?

Sorry not answering razorX...
It wasn't a 'forever" decision...it was just finally gettin' to have a bald head like I've always wanted and felt that it WAS my look and who was i foolin' by trying somethin' other than SLY!

It was 64 and sly for the rest of my life. I balded slowly and not at all in the front, so I kept up the non-bald persona for years. Eventually, in November 2006, I got tired of the pretense and went totally bald. No regrets. I celebrate you younger blokes who embraced the style early on. Professor Melon
