One thing that I really enjoy about Chrome is that each tab runs as its own process (genius) so if a site that youre viewing crashes or there is a program error, only the tab that started the issue is affected, not the whole program. in other words, it wont take the whole program down with it.

One thing that im not too keen about (and im not sure if its just me) but it seems to be a resource hog. I have a Intel Core2 duo @ 2GHz, 2GB RAM with Mobile Intel 965 Express chipset family.... I would think that would be enough...

About Incognito mode... while it might not cache or log any files or data on your computer, it doesnt stop a web filter or web monitoring software. So you dirty old men will still have to use your proxy servers at work....   

But it does seem extremely promising, and M$ (microsoft) needs to watch their six...

Been using Chrome since it came out. I use it for the majority of my surfing now. It is *the* fastest browser I have yet to encounter, in the time it takes to load web pages. Granted, it does have some things that it just doesn't do well - which makes me have to fall back on my old standby - Firefox - but I find I can do 90+% of what I want to do with Chrome.
I have all these browsers currently installed - brief critique with each.
Firefox 5.0 : My old standby. Reliable and pretty fast.
MSIE 8.0 : Slow and clunky. Only used for Windows updates. DITTO!
Safari 3.1.2 : Pretty good. Recent discovery. Faster than Firefox (Running on XP)
Opera 9.50 : Decent browser, but never really captured my fancy.

IRONHORSE, I'm there with you. I ONLY use IE for Windows updates. Chrome is my main browser and I do fall back to FF if I need to (do to limited plugins for Chrome). Opera never got my attention.

As soon as the gf gets her MacBook, I'll wipe the Viao and install Linux so I don't have to deal with the MS BS.
