So, after a long time of waiting (Thanks United Stats Postal Service) I finally got my Headblade.  After about 4-5 days after ordering I looked at the tracking code, apparently the USPS thought I didn't live where I live and sent it back.  The guys at Headblade were nice enough to call me and resend it, came within 2 days of that phone call.

So after checking my order again it said delivered yesterday, and I run outside like a child on Christmas and find my package.   They sent it with some little trial packs of their exfoliate and shaving cream and the matte/glossy lotions.  Mixed a little baby oil in with the shaving cream after getting out of the shower and started on the shave.  I thought the razor would be a bit bigger than it was, actually it's a lot smaller than I thought.  However, it fit in my bear paws just fine, and the first line I ran my finger back through it.  Didn't work so well, but I continued on.  Must have been a fluke because after that first line it worked just fine. 

Finished it off with the matte look since I figured the glossy would look odd on my pale head.  DAMN YOU MARCH FOR GETTING SO DAMN COLD SO QUICKLY!  It's a very good little tool to have, and it beats the hell out of using a regular old razor.  No more of the blade jumping and much easier to hold steady.  (Great for me because I can barely eat cereal without shaking the spoon and losing all the milk).

Both blade styles, Sensor or Atra, come off by grabbing the cartridge and gently sliding it to one side or the other. Once the pivot bar is clear of the hole or slide, that side of the cartridge will come free and voila, you have removed the cartridge from the HB. Do the same thing in reverse to attach a blade cartridge.

I LOVE the HB! It has been the only razor I use on my pate.

The Sport I got came with the blade reversed by accident...

So for my first few shaves I was sort of pulling it across my dome rather than pushing it...

Are Headblades available in stores anywhere, or are the mail-order only? I'll be needing one very soon.

I know that Walgreen's carries the HB and, if I recall correctly, CVS does, too.
