Amen to that Noodle.  Last night I watched some of the videos of the tsunami and quake, it defies comprehension.  Definitely will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Go to You Tube and type the following in the search window:
Japan Reactor: Video of new explosion at Fukushima nuclear plant.
I watched this video and it scares the hell out of me. Tell ya why. At 18 seconds into the video the field of view gets narrowed by about 50% and at that point it is clear that this particular building becomes subject to explosion. A mushroom cloud forms over the site within seconds and you can see dark spots flying out of the cloud which appear to be pieces of debris which were thrown into the air approximately twice the height of the smokestacks. These were pieces of debris that appear to be the size of vehicles. If this kind of stuff can be thrown this high how high can radiation be thrown? If this stuff gets into the trade winds it can move higher into the jet stream which blows at altitudes from 10-50K feet at speeds between 100-200 mph. The estimates are if this happens it can reach the west coast of the US by Friday (03-18-11). I would say that if the "cloud" goes higher than 14K feet it could sail right over the Rocky Mountains and continue east.
Call me paranoid if you must but I went on 4 seperate online supplement websites that sell vitamins, etc and all are completely out of nutritional iodine supplements. So if I'm paranoid I clearly am not alone.
This is getting kinda wierd.
P. S.: The vid in question was shot TODAY by RT which, as far as I can tell, is a Russian news agency.

Reports on MSNBC of a 3rd reactor explosion, this time with a statement that containment was breached and radiation was released into the atmosphere.

I gotta start working on my flexibility so as to be able to kiss my a$$ goodbye when the time comes.

Anybody got any iodine?

I'm using $100 bills as kindling and to light the cigarettes that I am currently chain smoking. By the time I finish this carton I'll be broke. Sorry.
