Hiyas:
Stumbled across this site earlier today while searching the InterWeb for info on the HeadBlade. Looked around the site and the forums a bit, and wound up grinning like a freakin' lunatic upon realizing that I'd found a whole slew of fellow Brothers of the Dome.
A little about me: Just turned 54 this month. Been shaving my noggin' for about 10 years. Ain't naturally going bald, just like the look and feel of my shaved dome.
Live in the thriving megalopolis of Columbia SC, but originally hail from NY. Been married to the same gal for 19 years, no kids (thank gawd). Wife's crazy as Hell.
Anyway, finally bought a HeadBlade Sport from CVS today. Got a pack of triple-blades and a bottle of HeadSlick while I was there too. Sometimes ya just gotta splurge. Can hardly wait to go all Sweeney Todd on my dome while showering tomorrow morning.
Life is good.
Looking forward to slowly assimilating and becoming a regular contributor to the forums.
Thanks,
BS

BS, dude, welcome, welcome, welcome to the best bald forum on the Internet

Unlike the Hotel California, you can come and go as you please. But kick your shoes off and stay a while; I'm sure you'll find a bunch of cool guys here!

Oh, nice tats! If you haven't seen it there is a thread or two on tats.

Red-Green Glasses? Usually that means you are looking at 3-D anaglyphs. Could that be the case? Or is it only a fashion statement?
If not, here's a good site for 3-D views...

@Ming: That pic was taken this past Halloween. I was dressed as Spider Jerusalem, a character out of a graphic novel titled Transmetropolitan written by Warren Ellis. The character is a journalist loosely based on Hunter Thompson. I've been told I kinda look like the guy (and act like him too.. LOL), so I decided to be him on Halloween. The glasses were just part of the outfit, as was the fake spider tat on my head. The rest of the ink is real. BTW, that anaglyph website looks interesting. Thanks for the link. I'm gonna have to get a pair of 3-D glasses so I can better check it out.
@Koz: Man, I'd been meaning to get a HeadBlade for years. Been using the Gillette Fusion and, while it gives a great shave, it wasn't designed solely for head shaving so I figured it was about time to go ahead and try the HeadBlade. I'm glad I finally did. I'm getting ready to jump in the shower in a few minutes and have my first HeadBlade experience. I'm confident that I'm gonna be pleased with the results.

Welcome to the forum, Barking Spider!!
Glad you could join us.
Interesting
lenses you have there!
Hmm... if one lens was
blue and the other
red, everything would then appear to be in
3-D!!

(LOL)

Thanks, Noodles.. good to be here.
LOL.. yeah, those glasses were an old pair I had whose lenses I painted up for Halloween. Gotta tell ya, wearing those things while driving to the party I went to that night was quite an eye-opening (pardon the pun) experience.
Oh, on an unrelated note referencing my previous comments to Koz about my very first shaving experience using the HeadBlade this morning, I give it two big thumbs up! I'd give it more than that if I had more thumbs. Awesome shave, and in about half the time it took before. I'm sold!

Welcome Barking Spider!! Thanks for the explanation on your pic! I thought you had a TAT of hole in your head.

I've been shaving for about 30 days now and love it. Headblade user myself. Took a few times for me to get used to it but I've got the routine down now. Front to back, then back to front works the best for me!!
